Print Books
CUW Library has print children’s books in the CUW Curriculum collection. Choose this under the Location Filter. For specific types of children’s books, Choose one of these Format Filters:
- “Juvenile Fiction”
- “Juvenile Literature”

- “Juvenile poetry”

Online Children’s Books
- Literature for Children: “children’s literature published largely in the United States and Great Britain from before 1850 to beyond 1950”
- International Children’s Public Library: thousands of free digitized books in many languages from many countries
- Storyline Online: free children’s books read by famous actors
Children’s Graphic Novels
- Search SWITCH Libraries in Primo for “graphic novel”
- CUW and SWITCH graphic novels can be picked up on campus or mailed home.
- Check your local public library for graphic novels.
- Wisconsin Digital Public Library has many online graphic novels (called graphic books) for children and is free to Wisconsin residents and CUW students who live in Wisconsin.
Note: most graphic novels will be labeled as “book” Content type in Primo
